HHS990 Series
Industrial Long-Range 2D Scanner for Warehousing & Logistics — Wired

Maximize Forklift Efficiency with 6-Meter Extended Range Scanning

The HHS9906H is engineered to thrive in demanding industrial settings. Designed for forklift operators and high-rack inventory, this wired 2D imager captures 100mil barcodes from up to 6 meters away. Featuring an IP65-rated design (tested in-house) and built to withstand 1.2m drops, it is designed to handle daily impacts and environmental hazards. This supports robust durability while helping improve operational safety and throughput.

The HHS990 Series also includes the entry-level HHS9900J for standard-range scanning. Both models connect over USB with no battery to charge.

Key Features: Extreme Range, Industrial Durability & 2D Precision

HHS9906H - 6m Long-Range Scanning

Captures 100mil barcodes from up to 6 meters (20 ft) away, supporting safe "pick-from-seat" forklift operations with less climbing. This long-range capability is not available on the entry-level HHS9900J (13 mil EAN-13: 20 to 320 mm). Performance may be affected by barcode quality and ambient conditions.

Rugged IP65-Rated Design (HHS9906H)

Protected against dust and water splashing, tested in-house to IP65 conditions. Designed to withstand multiple 1.2m drops to concrete, based on in-house drop tests, for reliability in harsh conditions.

Advanced 2D Imaging Technology

Equipped with a 2D imager to capture both 1D and 2D codes (like QR Codes) on labels or digital screens, unlike traditional laser scanners, which read 1D codes only. The HHS9906H uses dual 1280 x 1024 CMOS sensors; the HHS9900J uses a 640 x 480 sensor.

Ergonomic Grip for Intensive Use

A balanced, gun-style design intended to minimize hand fatigue, suited to continuous, high-volume scanning during long work shifts.

Optimized for Supply Chain

Tailored for logistics, it is designed to read dirty or damaged barcodes, helping keep data capture moving from receiving docks to shipping lanes.

Wired USB Connection & Flexible Interfaces

USB HID and USB Virtual-COM, with USB Serial and RS232 available by request. The scanner is powered over the cable (5V DC), so there is no battery to charge.
